Marty Wolk, the executive business editor of NBC News Digital, has accepted a position as personal finance editor of MSN Money, effective immediately.
He will report to Chris Oster, managing editor of MSN Money, a unit of Miscrosoft.
“In my new post, I will be responsible for coverage of issues related to money, including saving money, setting budgets, getting credit, dealing with debt, insurance and taxes,” said Wolk in an email to Talking Biz News.
At NBC News Digital, he was in charge of business and money content on msnbc.com and TODAY.com.
“I am very excited to be joining a fine group of editors and writers at MSN Money, many of whom I have known for years,” said Wolk, who is secretary of the Society of American Business Editors and Writers and in line to become president of the organization in 2015.
