Ray Hennessey, the editorial director at Entrepreneur Media, sent out the following staff email on Wednesday:

I’m excited to announce a restructuring of editorial responsibilities at Entrepreneur.com.

Jason Fell is elevated to managing editor, a new position. Jason has been a key part of Entrepreneur Media’s growth, helping to build and lead our technology coverage since 2010. Before that, he was at FOLIO for several years.

Jason’s promotion comes as Laura Lorber leaves us as executive editor. I want to thank Laura for her contributions to the site and wish her well in her future endeavors.

Jason will be joined by two deputy editors. Lauren Covello will manage our day-to-day news coverage, while Diana Ransom will be a deputy editor for longer-term projects. Lauren came to us after working with me at FOX Business for more than five years. Diana has been with us since 2011, after stints with the New York Daily News and with me at SmartMoney.com.

We will be reshuffling reporting lines as a result of these changes, an adding staff in the coming weeks as we build out new content areas.

I want to thank you for the hard work and commitment you have all brought to our digital products since I joined in July. Your dedication, willingness to try new things and winning spirit has been reflected in your quality journalism and has translated into solid traffic growth. We have big plans ahead.

Please join me in congratulating Jason, Lauren and Diana on their new roles.
