The Albany Business Review newspaper in update New York rolled out a redesigned newspaper on Friday.

Publisher Carolyn Jones wrote, “While we have polished up our look with a new logo, fresh design, expanded list packages, what we have really done is reimagined how we deliver local business news to the community.

“The weekly edition, morning and afternoon editions, our app and our mobile platform work in concert to give you news you want, when you want it, how you want it.  Our events put the icing on the cake by providing you with the opportunity to connect with other leaders hear from top experts and influencers and recognize excellence in many ways.

“Over the last several years, the media business has had significant challenges, and many have contracted staff and coverage.  I am proud to say that we have embraced change, and made a significant investment in our business and our future.  That translates to giving you even more breaking news as well as in depth look at important issues facing all of us in business.

“With today’s launch we are building on an investment in all our products — print, digital, mobile and events, to bring you a return on your investment in us.  Our name change — the Albany Business Review reflects the need to give us a sense of place that radiates out to the rest of the Capital Region — and in a digital world, works most effectively for optimizing your search for news.”
